Lots of new things going on here at Hern Farms Performance Horses! Purchased a new Stallion at the Fall 2018 Triangle Sale in Shawnee Oklahoma. Captain Cat is a beautiful Sorrel Stallion and was the highest selling horse in the Shawnee Session. Check out his page under Stallions. 2019 APRIL Spring has arrived and so have the foals! Lots of foals hitting the ground which means it is also Breeding Season! We seem to be making daily trips to the Vet to ultrasound mares and order cooled semen from 6666's Ranch! So Far so good. 2 out of 2 pregnant but several more to go, Also moved some mares and stallions to various pastures for the Spring and summer.
Made our way back to Oklahoma on the 26th to the 40th Annual Triangle Spring Sale. We sold our two 2 yr old stallions. Trey rode them in the ring and they did very well. We met the people that bought them and know they are going to good homes! We also purchased 2 new mares that are due to foal any minute now: Doc Na Box(Bred to Dont Stopp Believin) and CajunLena Oak(Bred to The Boon) Our big purchase was our Newest Stallion "Played".(Pictured at left) He is an own son of Playgun!

Spring 2019 Having Lots of babies!! So Far, everyone healthy and happy. Purchased a beautiful Mare: A Special TR. An own daughter of TR Dual Rey by the one and only Dual Rey. We are so happy to have her as part of our program.

***The Fall Sales 2019 At Farmers and Ranchers Livestock in Salina and Triangle Sales in Oklahoma were a great success. We sold a few at Oklahoma and came home with a few mares as well. 2020 is going to be a busy year. Lots of foals coming our way. Our 1st baby by Skylines Smarty (Above) and the stallion: Im Countin Checks, was born on March 8th. A strong stallion colt and cute as a button. Can't wait for the rest (About 40) to get here.
Been a rough year for 2020. A lot of horse sales cencelled due to Covid 19. Have sold a few at Cudd Ranch Sale and a few through the website. Looking forward to the Fall sales in Salina and Oklahoma City in October and November.
