Hern Farms started over 30 years ago when Danny Hern began raising cattle. He has built a solid reputation as a top producer of Charolais Beef Cattle. His dream had always been to breed and raise Quarter Horses.The breeding program here at Hern Farms starts with the Mares. Their bloodlines of quality cutting and reining lines include: Playgun, Peppy San Badger, Dual Pep, Peptoboonsmal , Highbrow Cat, Bamacat and Gallo Del Cielo. Combined with the superior performance bloodlines of our Stallions, we are producing foals that will be destined to be champion performers, Ranch Horses or Family members!
Danny personally halter breaks the foals to lead. The time we spend with them from day one shows in their gentle nature. All our mares are stout and intelligent and have been producing outstanding foals. Let us help you pick your next performer! A few years ago, We were asked to become a share holder in the great Stallion, ROCKIN W, and become part of the Rockin W Syndicate. We will be having more foals by this great Stallion and some of our top Money Earning mares in the future. We already have a young mare, Sheisarockindualrey, by Rockin W and Sassy Jazzy Rey, as part of our future program. We have also purchased shares in the BAMACAT syndicate also so you can expect some great Bamacat foals as well. We welcome you to visit and see the Mares, Stallions and foals in person.
